Highly recommend! Ravi took the time to work with my terribly damaged hair. Her ability to take my copper toned, and fried hair to a vibrant blonde with a beautiful cut, was unbelievable. Its obvious they truly care about their customers and overall service!

I've been seeing Ravi for brows and and Harry for cuts for over six years. They're my favorite. Harry's cuts are masterful. Ravi is the only person I let touch my brows other than myself. Can't say enough about how great I feel about how I look when I leave the salon. They don't try to upsell products, but if you want to try something he is using to tame your hair he describes what works and why.

My daughter and I came here tonight, on a whim...we were in the mood for a change. We both got our eyebrows done (free! since we were new customers), our hair shampooed/cut/styled. I also got my upper lip waxed.
Both the people we dealt with (the owners) were super friendly & professional. Both knew their craft & were fast & precise. Prices for hair cuts were reasonable, and eyebrows SUPER reasonable (even when not on special).
I am SUPER picky about how my hair is cut because it grows slowly, plus it is coarse & wavy. I have NO qualms about going back to Thunder Salon for haircuts, or facial hair removal.
I felt VERY comfortable in their shop, not at all rushed, and felt I got more than my money's worth for the time they spent styling my hair. It was my first time ever having my hair straight ironed & it was crazy how different it made my hair look & feel!
I can't believe I have actually have found a salon where I can look forward to getting my hair & eyebrows done. No easy feat, as I am pretty set in my ways at this stage in my life.

I've never really been able to shape my eyebrows and have never been happy with them. I've always just plucked to try to keep it clean but they were always slightly uneven. Plus my skin is too sensitive for waxing, so when my cousin recommended threading I wanted to try it. Since this is the place that her and her friend goes to go and their eyebrows done.

Coming from Elk Grove, this is quite the drive for me. But I decided to make the trek to try it. My first time there was a pleasant one. I was in and out in a about five minutes and the results were amazing. She not only shaped my eyebrows, but cleaned up the the area around my forehead and face and trimmed them. I swear they have never looked so good!!

Definitely recommend this place for anyone that wants to try the threading. I've never needed an appointment and have always just walked right in with no problems.

I come back every few weeks to get touched up and she always does a great job. The place is always clean and the staff is always friendly.

Don't pay attention to the one bad review. I was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem close to my house. I had color and highlights done and my hair looks great. The price was average and the service was excellent. I'll be back for sure!!

I've been going to Ravi for over a year now. I go once every 3 weeks religiously for wax/thread. She's the only person who has offered to wax AND thread for $10. She has tamed my eyebrows and several occasions, and will really take her time to look and make sure they're twins, not sisters.

She's available by both appointment and walk-in. She's really great at what she does, and hope she stays in Folsom for a very long long time.

This is a family owned business. Raavi (Hair, Waxing, Threading, Henna) and Harry (Hair) are great and make themselves available for same day appointments. They have worked hard to make my son with special needs feel comfortable with the hair cut experience. They don't push him or rush the service.

Harry is known for precision cutting and attention to detail for both men and women's hair.

Raavi is gentle with Threading and will combine waxing if desired.

The downturn in the economy has forced me to make some changes in my lifestyle. Thankfully though my eyebrows still look good because I found Raavi. She's skilled at both waxing and threading. I especially like threading because it's more precise than wax. And it's not painful. Raavi charges $10. She and the other staff are also very friendly.

If you need threading, try Thunder. I've recently moved here from LA, where you can find a threadist or a threading salon on every corner. Here it's way more difficult. They are few and far between and pricier. (I'm thinking it's the lack of competition).
I've been here a couple of times, and the experience was good both times. I really like the location since it's close to my house! I've been a walk in both times, once there wasn't a wait and the second time I had to come back in a couple hours. It's probably a good idea to make an appointment, since she also does hair and can be busy with that as well. All in all, I'd definitely go again!

This place is off the hook. I go there to get my eyebrows threaded and always leave with a huge smile and a pair of great looking eyebrows. They are friendly and courteous. Eyebrow threading is 10 bucks which I find very fair (don't forget to tip!). I find that waxing is more painful and less precise so I've been doing this since 1994 (started in NY).

I recently needed a trim as well and they had some time so I got the eyebrows done and then a haircut. They did a great job and what I wanted.

The place is very pretty too.

Parking is a bit of a hassle because it's on the same strip as the DMV but so worth it.

THE BEST place to go to get your eyebrows threaded. I have never loved my brows as much as I do now that I go here. I haven't ever waited more than 10 mins either, and always walk in. My eyebrows are always perfect and full -just how I like them! The owners are both incredibly nice and welcoming. Prices are great too.. Only $10 leaving plenty of room for a good tip. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know. So happy with my eyebrows! Try her! She's amazing!

I've been coming here for years now. As far as I'm concerned, there's nowhere else to get your eyebrows threaded.

There's usually not much of a wait for walk-ins, but I have had to wait for one other girl to finish once or twice. I don't understand how they're not busier because this. Is. Seriously. The. Only. Place. To. Get. Threaded.

The clerk asks, waxing or threading, or both? I always say both. She waxes first, and I don't think it hurts but, I like pain so, ask someone else. Her threading absolutely does not hurt, and I've been places where it does hurt a little. Then, if needed, she'll pluck and cut the brows, and then she always asks, "Would you like cooling gel?"

"Yes, please."

Ten bucks. No freaking way. She did all four things for ten bucks. You can give her a fifty percent tip and still get off cheaper than almost anywhere else.

And she does a fantastic job, obviously, I mean, come on, look at me!

I mean, I'm sorry, she probably can't make you as pretty (and modest) as I am, but she can make your eyebrows look spectacular.

I decided to take advantage of their new client deal and I was happy with their service. Very nice people. Good service.
